Corporate Design Branding Product Design

In the Corporate Design and Branding course, I concentrated on elevating Aquafina's logo to enhance corporate image and product branding. I created a succinct design manual, detailing the redesign process and offering clear guidelines for implementing the logo effectively. The objective was to craft a polished logo that aligns seamlessly with the brand's vision, ultimately fortifying its overall presence.

Logo

Designing Aquafina's brand identity involves a meticulous process focused on professional unity. The focus on the signature "q" character and the incorporation of a wave motif is foundational, contributing to a distinct and memorable logotype. The exclusivity of the handwritten approach allows for the exploration of ligatures, creating a unique visual language. The wave seamlessly connects to the letter’s crossbars and tail from the letter Q, creating a cohesive design. Kerning adjustments ensure balance, maintaining a handcrafted aesthetic for brand consistency. The result is a thoughtfully designed logotype that captures Aquafina's essence through unique elements.

Aquafina's Flavorsplash secondary logo integrates with the primary logo, featuring Raspberry, Grape, and Wild Berry variants. Colorful waves enhance flavor clarity, aligning with the brand's dynamic identity and creating a professional representation of the Flavorsplash product line.

Colors

The primary Aquafina logo adheres to a refined color palette, featuring black and PANTONE 300 blue, underscoring a sleek and timeless aesthetic.

In the case of Flavorsplash, a meticulous approach is taken to color representation. Raspberry is characterized by a vibrant red-pink fusion, precisely defined as PANTONE 206, while grape assumes a regal purple tone designated as PANTONE 7650.

Wild Berry flavor is intricately crafted with a trio of distinct fruit hues. Strawberry is denoted by PANTONE 1785, blueberry is represented by PANTONE 660, and blackberry assumes a rich depth expressed through PANTONE 7663. This intentional color selection process contributes to a visually cohesive and professionally crafted brand identity, ensuring that Aquafina's Flavorsplash products are not only flavorful but also visually appealing and consistent.

Typography

In shaping Aquafina's typographic identity, I strategically leverage the Futura PT typeface family. Each variant—Futura Medium for Flavorsplash, Futura Book Oblique for flavor specifics, and Futura Book for supplementary information.

The Century Gothic font is chosen for stationery, maintaining a professional aesthetic across business cards, letterheads, and envelopes. To enhance visual appeal, both regular and bold Century Gothic variations are thoughtfully integrated into business cards. This meticulous typographic approach reflects a commitment to a unified and refined brand image across diverse materials.
